Are you ready? After months of preparation and planning, the day is finally here. And Mother Nature has decided to be very nice to us this year. Race-time temp is supposed to be 71 degrees and partly cloudy with just a slight breeze. In other words– PERFECT!
Teams will gather at the Hughes Shelter in anticipation of the challenges that are waiting ahead. Although the exact challenges are not known to the contestants, those who have been in the race previously know that you must be ready for anything… But mostly, be ready for fun.
The after-race party is always a special time of socialization and story telling, and of course, eating. There should be some awesome stories to tell. I can’t wait to hear them all.
Most importantly, this is our biggest fund raiser of the year and our race sponsors and teams have not disappointed. We should be on track to hit our goal. We would love to thank all of our sponsors and teams.
